Midterm Elections

Tomorrow Pot Stocks Explode

Election Day is tomorrow, November 6.

The stakes couldn’t be higher for the legal pot market.

To put things in perspective…

CNBC reports: “2016 was seen as a watershed year for marijuana legalization, and much of the activity took place via ballot measure. Arkansas, California, Florida, Massachusetts, Nevada and North Dakota all increased access to marijuana that year.”

The 2018 midterms could be the tipping point moment that takes the marijuana industry completely mainstream.

Green Waves of Cannabis

Ahead of the midterms Oklahoma has already voted a resounding “yes” in favor of legalizing marijuana.

Oklahoma State Question 788, the Medical Marijuana Legalization Initiative, was initiated as a state statute this June 26, 2018, and was approved shortly thereafter.

A “yes” vote means the state of Oklahoma is now able to legalize the licensed cultivation, use and possession of marijuana for medicinal purposes.

One day Oklahoma’s amber waves of grain will be green waves of cannabis…

On top of that we have four more states with marijuana measures on the ballot… North Dakota and Michigan will vote on allowing recreational use while Utah and Missouri will vote on making medical cannabis legal…

With many more gubernatorial… senate… and congressional races that will decide legal marijuana’s future.

For instance, New Jersey is in the final stages of drafting a bill in its legislature that would legalize pot potentially by the end of this year, without going to the polls.

Why The Midterms Are So Important

What’s really notable about these four states now voting on marijuana initiatives is that they were all red states in the 2016 election — more and more, we’re seeing voters squash the notion that cannabis legalization doesn’t jive with conservative values.

And the ballot initiatives are only part of the push toward nationwide legalization in 2018…

The economic opportunities that cannabis is bringing to the jurisdictions where it’s been legalized: jobs and billions of dollars in tax revenues (often specifically earmarked to fund education) can’t be ignored.

And don’t forget about the massive gain opportunities in the stock market!

That’s why I, along with special guest host, Emmy Award winning TV personality Montel Williams, are hosting a live, one-night-only ELECTION NIGHT EVENT Tuesday, November 6 at 8:00 pm EST.
