Is the End of the Pandemic Near?

Every week seems to get better and better for tech and biotech.

And the markets are loving it.

Add more positive vaccine news coupled with major breakthroughs and we’re seeing some major movement in our area of the market.

Here’s what I’m looking at this week…

1. Moderna Adds Hope for the End of the Pandemic

Last week we started the week with major news that Pfizer was reporting a 90% effective rate on its COVID-19 vaccine.

This morning, we awoke to even better news.

Right on the heels of Pfizer’s announcement, this morning Moderna reported a 94% effective rate on its own vaccine.

And experts are saying that there are some major benefits to this new vaccine — the best of all, a return to normality more quickly than expected.

2. The Death of Startups Is Imminent

A coalition of 135 startups and tech companies joined together to urge the European Union’s antitrust chief to take action against Google.

This is the largest coalition ever to have submitted a complaint to the EU commission.

They have good reason to complain: Google’s not playing by the rules.

And they argue if Google continues the act the way it does, it could mean the death of these companies.

3. Internet Straight From the Heavens

High-speed internet straight from space seemed like science fiction 10 years ago.

Now it’s a very real thing with Starlink’s public beta.

The initial results have been very good, as people have reported access to high-speed internet in rural parts of the Northwest.

But Starlink and Musk aren’t the only ones getting into the game…

In fact, another company has a shot at directly competing with Starlink.

And if my hunches are correct, this could mean a huge profit opportunity for those invested correctly.

4. What the COVID-19 Vaccines Mean for the Biotech Industry

The past two weeks we’ve seen amazing news from Pfizer and Moderna surrounding a potential COVID-19 vaccine.

What’s even more amazing is that the vaccines are the first of their kind to use mRNA.

This is a huge deal with big implications for the rest of the biotech community.

But what exactly is mRNA and why is this such a big deal that we’re using it in a vaccine?

Find out the answer to those questions and more by clicking here.

That’s all for this week. As always, I’ll be sending you the best ideas surrounding the tech market.

To a bright future,
